How Does the Accreditation Process Work?
Our accreditation process ensures that only businesses meeting our standards are accredited. Here’s an overview:
1. Application Review
We assess applications through initial credit and background checks. This includes reviewing the applicant’s credit rating, payment history, any outstanding county court judgements, and the history of directors or proprietors.
2. Documentation Check
Applicants provide essential documentation about their business, including financial statements, customer-facing documents, business processes, and insurance.
3. Reputational Analysis
We look beyond paperwork to assess the online reputation of the business. This includes customer ratings (Trustpilot, Google), any negative reports associated with the business phone number, issues raised with the Advertising Standards Authority, and website review.
4. Additional Requests & Management Review
Occasionally, we may request further information or carry out deeper investigations based on the findings above.
5. Final Decision
Based on the review process, businesses are either approved for membership or declined.
